Description of Virtual Edit V1.04:
'Virtual Edit' is a semi-professional tool aimed at ambitious content creators to video novices who want to produce material with a slick and professional look, on a limited budget. It has been written to simplify the process of compiling your holiday video footage, your wedding video or your university media production project. 'Virtual Edit' uses only simple cut and fade transitions, which may be rendered in real time thus giving you the ability to preview edits immediately, without the need for expensive hardware! You can also import nearly all types of multimedia data, for example DV/MPEG/AVI/WAV/MP3/BMP/JPG. You may also add realtime effects (e.g. greyscale, colour balance and brightness etc) and overlay title graphics. 'Virtual Edit' is currently FREE because the software is in its beta testing phase. However, in the future we intend on maintaining a FREE feature rich version, available for download which will be fully compatible with the commercial version.
