Power Audio Editor makes editing audio files as easy as editing text with its clear user interface and powerful effects. Here are just a few of the ways you could use Power Audio Editor: Record your band and convert the .wav to .mp3 to distribute on the web. Digitize your old tapes and records, save them to your hard drive, and then burn them to CD using your CDR software Record your voice and add special effects (like echo and chorus). Delete the annoying applause at the end of a song that was recorded live. Apply audio equalization to a music file in order to make it sound better. Record your voice and overlay it on top of background music. Record a music lesson and learn from the playback. Amplify a song that's been recorded too quietly. See what Mozart sounds like when played backwards. Change the format of a wave file (i.e., 22 KHz to 11 KHz sampling rate). Fade out the end of a song that is too long to make it shorter.
